DEFINITELY PREGO

We finally got some pictures of the pregnant belly! Justin did a mini photo shoot and I must say I'm impressed with some of the shots he got. I didn't know he had it in him! (Although he reminded me he DID take advance photo in High School:)

So here I am, 17 weeks pregnant with the little double decker. Hopefully we find out what we're having on Tuesday! I have been so giddy about it I can't even stand it anymore. They better be able to let us see or else I think I might die of anticipation. I have officially changed my vote
from 2 boys to a boy and a girl. Either way, I know it's not two girls (even though that would be lovely). There is at least one boy in there.

I have been thinking over the past few weeks of how blessed we are and have been counting all the many blessings. We both have good jobs, especially my job that is almost stress free and flexible allowing me to relax and not stress my body out during this pregnancy. I have plenty of time to sleep and take care of myself. Just has been doing well with Real Estate and continues to enjoy his job. We're able to pay for Justin's tuition semester after semester. He got a raise, I got a raise, we found an amazing deal on our townhouse, my brother is renting our condo so we're not forced to pay two mortgages till it sells, we keep finding deals on stuff we need. I have two humans growing inside of me and all is well. We have amazing friends and families. We're healthy, we're happy and so glad that we have prepared ourselves emotionally, financially and
spiritually to start a family so that this is truly a joyous occasion and not a stressful one. It's just so crazy how things work out in life.

I find it entertaining hearing people's reactions when we tell them we're having twins. Most are really excited, some say how jealous they are, but there have been a few that say things like "Oh, I would have cried if I found out I was having twins when I was pregnant" or "Oh my gosh, good luck!" and give me a pat on the shoulder. Now I'm sure it's because they're remembering how hard it was with their one baby, and maybe we really don't know what we're getting ourselves into, but we are truly so so so excited! It is such an adventure and blessing to be bringing two of Heavenly Father's children into our family. We couldn't be more stoked. I can't help but think with Justin by my side, how muchfun this is going to be!

Below are a couple of my favs Justin took. We'll keep you posted on what
we're having if we find out on Tuesday

Beach House Oceanside

What a fun getaway this was! We rented a Beach House in Oceanside Cali right by the ocean with Justin's family.
Enjoying the sunset...

Justin and his parents Jim and Patti.
Justin and Hannah worked on this "Shamu" with a little help from me and Jim. I think it turned out pretty awesome! We had to search for the perfect rocks and we didn't have a bucket so we had to haul them using our towel.
Sea World!!!!! I felt like a little kid and loved it! I haven't been to Sea World since I was pretty little. We saw almost every single one of the shows and almost every sight to stop and play, such as the star fish holding pond!

Me and Hannah. This is the beach from the above pictures, only at high tide. During the day there was a little bit of beach, but by late afternoon/evening it came all the way up to the rocks!
Stairs leading down to the "Beach" which was non-existent at high tide.

The fam: Me, Justin, Megan, Jason, and Hannah
The beach house. It was pretty little and we were pretty cramped together in there. I should have taken a picture of me and Justin's room. It had bunk beds and barely enough room to walk, but it made the adventure that much funner! Thanks Jim and Patti for planning such a fun vacation!

Selling the Condo

We are taking a leap and selling our condo! I decided I couldn't have twins in a one bedroom (granted it's a very LARGE bedroom) condo. I thought I could, but I was reading my TWINSPIRATION book and it started stressing me out. So it's for sale! So we barely put it on the market, and low and behold came across an AMAZING deal on a townhouse. It was bank owned, newer, has a yard for Sky to play in and an upstairs with 3 bedrooms and a garage. Sold! We put an offer on it and that day it was accepted. Crap, now what do we do with our condo???? So we really need to sell it. Our closing date for the new townhouse is the end of August and I really don't want to pay two mortgages. Please tell your friends! It's in Ogden by the mountains by the mouth of the canyon, it has a pool and is very shady/trees and it's a super cute condo! It's been good to us! Check it out at www.tourfactory.com/633992!!!

Telling Justin

I knew when I found out I was pregnant I wouldn't be able to keep it from Justin for long, and I wanted to tell him in a fun way. He was at work, and the first thing I did was take like three more pregnancy tests just to make sure :) Then I went to work and I was so excited I had to leave and I went and bought 50 pink and blue balloons and filled our living room with them. Somehow I fit them all into my car.

I tied a pink and blue balloon down with a positive prego test so he'd see them first when he opened the door.
Then I waited on the couch. When he walked in I'm so glad that I got his reaction on camera.
We are so excited and it was such a fun way to tell him! We didn't find out for several more weeks that it was twins we were expecting! We're still a little shocked about that.

Wonderful News

We are so excited to announce that we are pregnant!!!!

Notice anything different about this picture?

TWINS!!!!
We can't even contain our excitement! I'm in my 10th week so it's still slightly early
so hopefully all goes well and they keep growing strong and healthy. I have been super sick (maybe doubly so :) but it's ok because it will all be worth it! I'm pretty sure they're going to be two little boys, but we'll see. We have an amazing doctor who is so thorough and cautious so it makes me feel really good about everything. Now it's just time to stock up on 2 of everything!

We went down to California over Father's day to tell Justin's family. This was in the present we gave to Justin's dad. It will be the first grandkids on that side. They were so excited! It was so much fun telling them! We told most everyone else with the M&M's.

HAWAIIN PARADISE

So we went back to Hawaii last month because we're slightly obsessed. We flew out of Seattle because tickets were only 291/person! Amazing! So the drive up there was totally worth it and then we got to play around in Seattle which was way awesome. I love Seattle! At Pike's Place Market

Space Needle

Random Hawaii pic in the Seattle section, but what do you do? We rented kayaks from this Hawaiian guys house and Justin found his long board in the driveway and decided to take it for a couple runs..
Me in a sculpture in the sculpture garden at the space needle.

This grassy knoll was the best place to people watch. Apparently everyone from homeless crazy people to normal people pack on this location when it's warm. We were there on a day that was in the 70's and we were told it was the best day Seattle's seen in 10 months! We're pure luck I tell you what! It was beautiful while we were there.

My beautiful mom. We met them on the big island Hawaii, Kona side. This doesn't even look like Hawaii does it? The big island (not to be mistaken with Oahu which is the MAIN island) is so diverse!
Hiking across a massive caldera that in the 1950's was a massive lake of lava. Pretty intense.
Justin doing his favorite faces for pictures
My studly dad
He found this sharp bamboo and is acting as though he was just impaled by it. Very life-like dad
Justin's awesome tan line the first day in the sun. I was putting sun screen on him and he said "just do my shoulders, I want to get sun". Shoulders I did. This is what he looked like for the rest of the trip :)

The awesome awesome observatory. It's one of the best in the world because the sky is so clear for obvious reasons, and the big island of Hawaii is actually the tallest mountain in the world even though most of it is underwater. The stars were amazing and we saw Saturn and globular clusters and galaxy's 10 million lightyears away through the telescopes. It was amazing!

We sea kayaked out to Captain Cook's Monument and the whole way across the bay a herd of like 15 dolphins swam right beside us!!! It was the coolest thing I've ever seen!
Look at this enormous sea turtle we found!

This was definitely the highlight of the trip and we are doing it again when we go back someday. It's the night Manta Ray dive and is totally amazing. They take you on a 30 min boat ride out on the ocean, then you get there at sunset and there are other boats there and out in the water you see this glowing coming from the sea. Divers have gone down and put spotlights on the bottom of the ocean and the lights attract the plankton which attracts Manta's!!!! They give you wet suits, snorkel gear or dive gear if you dive and waterproof flashlights, you jump into the ocean with all the massive waves and get with a group around a ring they've made with like 4 water noodles, swim together towards the light and all shine your flashlights in the middle of your ring and wait till the 15-20 foot wingspanned Manta's come to eat the plankton. You put your face in the water and there they are! They were amazing and came right up to our faces. It is the most surreal thing I have ever done. If you ever go to Kona you have to do this. And it was only like 70 bucks. Totally worth it~!!!
Our vacation was definitely a blast and we never wanted to come back home. And it was so fun with my parents! They are in their late fifties and so adventurous! It made it that much funner!
